Norman Weaver, P.E.

Norman Weaver is a registered professional engineer and energy efficiency technology specialist with experience in the evaluation and design of energy efficiency and renewable energy systems. Recent projects include technical and software support for the development of the U.S. Dept. of Energy's “ENERGY-10” building energy analysis package, the Southern Company’s ENERSIM tool, the Manufactured Housing Energy Audit for state weatherization agencies, design tools software support to the National Wind Technology center, and hotel sector energy audits for British Columbia Hydro.
Prior to founding InterWeaver Consulting, Mr. Weaver served as Vice President for Engineering at ERG International Consultants providing DSM evaluation and design assistance services to government, utility, and private clients. Mr. Weaver held staff engineering positions at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory with work assignments focusing on design tools for building energy analysis, daylighting instrumentation and solar thermal applications. As staff engineer at Regional Systems Services Group, Mr. Weaver helped develop a methodology to evaluate dispersed renewable generation technologies. While pursuing advance course work in renewable energy systems, Mr. Weaver worked as research assistant at the Colorado Solar Energy Research Laboratory at Colorado State University. Mr. Weaver also held a staff position at the Center for Energy Economics at Stanford Research Institute contributing a review of solar applications in agriculture and supporting a multi-client modeling study of world energy pricing.
Mr. Weaver received his MS in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
